The UC Riverside softball team (1-3) picked up their first win of the 2009 season with a 8-3 victory over the University of San Diego in game three of the aTen Construction Invitational on Friday, Feb. 13 at Amy S. Harrison Field in Riverside. UCR's second game of the day against Colorado State was suspended due to weather and will resume tomorrow morning at 10:00 a.m.

49ers Open Campbell-Cartier Classic With 8-3 Loss To No. 8 Stanford

The Long Beach State softball team (2-3) dropped its opening game of the Campbell-Cartier Classic, falling to No. 8 Stanford, 8-3, Friday evening at SDSU Softball Stadium. The game was called after five innings due to rain.

UCSB Drops Pair On Second Day Of Campbell-Cartier Classic

The UC Santa Barbara softball team dropped a pair of games on the second day of the Campbell/Cartier Classic on Friday. The Gauchos fell 3-0 to No. 10 Washington (6-0) before having a late inning comeback thwarted in a 6-5 loss to Utah State (3-4).

Cal State Fullerton Loses Opener in Las Vegas, Defeats Oregon In Game Two

Cal State Fullerton dropped its first contest of the day to Oregon State, but picked up a win against Oregon later in the day.  Cal State Fullerton returns to action on Saturday afternoon at 3:45 p.m. as the Titans take on Virginia in day two action. Fullerton then meets Utah at approximately 6 p.m. in its final game of the day.
