PAC_Young
Pacific picked up its second straight Big West Women's Basketball Player of the Week award after Janae Young guided the Tigers to an 82-60 win over UC Riverside, earning them a No. 4 seed and a first round bye in this week's conference tournament. Fellow teammate Kelsey Lavender earned the weekly honor last week.

Picking up her second weekly accolade of the season, Young shot 7-of-12 from the field and was flawless from long-range as she netted 2-2 from behind-the-arc. The Sacramento, Calif., native controlled the glass for the Tigers as she tied for the game-high with eight rebounds. She also drained 5-of-6 from the charity stripe, dished out three assists and tallied one block and one steal.

The fourth-seeded Tigers return to action Thursday when they face a team yet to be determined in the second game of a doubleheader at the Big West Women's Basketball Tournament at the Anaheim Convention Center.

Others nominated: Toni Thomas (CSF), Jessica Campbell (UCD), Karina Figueroa (LBSU).
