BigWest.TV caught up with UC Davis men’s basketball head coach Gary Stewart on Friday, January 18 to discuss his team’s 74-57 win over UC Irvine on Thursday and preview Saturday’s game against Cal State Fullerton.  See what Coach Stewart had to say about his Aggies and what his thoughts are on their upcoming contest.

 

UC Davis opened Thursday’s game with a 17-0 run and never looked back, pushing their record to 8-9 overall and 2-2 in conference play.  They host the dangerous Titans on Saturday, January 19.  Cal State Fullerton is coming off an 89-82 loss to the Pacific Tigers on Thursday night, and is lead by junior transfer Josh Akognon (21.1 ppg), senior Frank Robinson (15.3 ppg, 6.3 rpg) and senior Scott Cutley (13.7 ppg, 7.1 rpg).  The game is available on BigWest.TV beginning at 7:00 p.m. PST.
