Idaho sophomore Leilani Mitchell (Kennewick, Wash./Kennewick HS) remains rooted atop the Big West scoring charts this season after yet another standout week. For the second time this season, Mitchell was named the Big West Women's Basketball Player of the Week, again lifting the Vandals to back-to-back wins and tacking up her second double-double of the year.

She was Idaho's leading scorer in a tight 59-58 win over Montana, tallying four 3-pointers on her way to 26 points, six rebounds, six assists and just two turnovers. Against Portland State, Mitchell came just two assists short of a triple-double. She went 12-for-12 from the free-throw line to finish with 16 points, a career-high 11 rebounds and eight assists. By week's end, the 5-5 guard had averaged 8.5 rebounds per game and had a 2.8 assist/turnover ratio.
