Freshman setter Kate Lang recorded her first two career double-doubles and helped lead Hawai’i to a pair of Big West victories and a 4-0 record to share the top line in the league standings.

Against Long Beach State, she efficiently distributed the Rainbow Wahine’s offensive attack, dishing out 37 assists while Hawai’i hit a team .349 hitting percentage with all five starting hitters recording at least six kills apiece in the sweep. She added a team-high 11 digs to capture the double-double.

Lang recorded a career-high 51 assists to go along with 17 digs in Sunday’s match against Cal State Fullerton. She was in on two blocks with a kill and a service ace in the four-set victory over the Titans.
