  • 32247Long Beach State center Corbin Stanley recorded 21 goals at the Triton Invitational to claim Big West Men's Water Polo Player of the Week honors, presented by Kap7 International. 

  • Stanley led the Beach in scoring while playing primarily in five matches, highlighted by a season-high six goals against Bucknell on opening day.

  • The tournament haul pushed Stanley past 100 career goals (103), becoming the 35th player in program history to reach the milestone.

  • No. 7 Long Beach State swept the weekend with a 6-0 record, including victories over T-No. 20 Saint Mary's and No. 8 Pepperdine.
  • The Beach will now prepare for their home opener at the newly renovated Ken Lindgren Aquatics Center against No. 2 Southern California on Friday, Sept. 4 at 7 p.m.
