Field Player of the Week 
Gia Felice, UC Davis | Senior • Infielder • Hollister, Calif.  
  • 8137UC Davis junior infielder Gia Felice slashed .700/.727/.800 over three games, highlighted by a program and Big West record-tying five-hit performance, to earn The Big West Field Player of the Week award. It is the first career weekly honor for Felice.

  • The Hollister, Calif native led off all three games in the Aggies' sweep over CSUB, totaling seven hits, one double, three RBI, and two stolen bases.

  • Felice capped the weekend with a 5-for-5 outing, scoring three runs with a double and two RBI, becoming the first Aggie since 2010 to record five hits in a single game.

Pitcher of the Week
Taryn Irimata, Hawai'i | Sophomore •  'Ewa Beach, 'Oahu  
  • 25388Hawai'i sophomore pitcher Taryn Irimata went 2-0 with a spotless ERA across 10.0 innings to earn The Big West Pitcher of the Week award. It is the second weekly distinction of Irmata's career after earning the accolade after the first week of the season (Feb. 9, 2026). 

  • The right-hander allowed just two hits total across two appearances, holding Long Beach State scoreless while issuing six walks and striking out four.

  • Irimata tossed a one-hit complete-game shutout in a five-inning run-rule victory, marking the first shutout of the sophomore's career.

  • In the series finale, the sophomore entered in relief and shut down the Beach over the final five innings, allowing no runs to secure the series win.

Freshman of the Week 
Dani Rauscher, UC Santa Barbara | • Infielder/Utility • San Jose, Calif.
  • 8UC Santa Barbara freshman outfielder Dani Rauscher hit .636 (7-for-11) with six runs scored to claim The Big West Freshman of the Week award. It is the first weekly distinction of Rauscher's collegiate career.

  • The freshman set the tone at the top of the lineup, reaching base consistently while going a perfect 2-for-2 on stolen base attempts.

  • Rauscher's production helped fuel the Gauchos' offense during an undefeated conference weekend. The rookie has emerged as a key contributor for UC Santa Barbara, playing a pivotal role in the team's 9-0 start in Big West action.
