Offensive Player of the Week 
Kristian Titriyski, Hawa'i | Sophomore • Opposite Hitter • Sofia, Bulgaria
  • Leading Hawai’i to a pair of wins at the OUTRIGGER Invitational, Kristian Titriyski has earned Big West Offensive Player of the Week. This is a second offensive award of the season, and a fourth career honor.  

  • Titriyski pounded a team-high 33 total kills in three matches played in last week's OUTRIGGER Invitational, averaging 4.13 kills per set and hitting at a .411 clip, along with 1.25 digs per set, six blocks and three aces.  

  • The sophomore from Sofia, Bulgaria made a return to the lineup against Mount Olive after missing the last 11 matches, finishing with 10 kills in two sets played, including eight in the third set alone as UH completed the straight-set sweep on Thursday.  

  • In Saturday’s loss to No. 1 UCLA, Titriyski posted nine kills, hitting .400 with an ace, three digs, and a block, also playing in two sets.  

  • The opposite hitter finished the weekend with 14 kills, hitting .417 with four digs and three blocks in a four-set win over Lewis.

Defensive Player of the Week 
Joe Wallace, UC Santa Barbara | Junior • Libero/Defensive Specialist • Los Gatos, Calif.
  • 8134Helping UC Santa Barbara to a weekend split over UC Irvine, Joe Wallace has been named Big West Defensive Player of the Week. This is a first career weekly honor for Wallace.  

  • The junior libero tallied a combined 22 digs in nine sets, or 2.75 per set, with five assists for the Gauchos. 

  • On Wednesday, Wallace opened the series with seven digs and two assists in a 3-1 road loss.  

  • The product of Los Gatos, Calif., tied a career high in Friday’s five-set home victory over the Anteaters with 15 digs to hold down the back line.

Setter of the Week 
Tread Rosenthal, Hawai'i | Junior • Setter • Austin, Texas
  • Tread Rosenthal of Hawai’i directed the Rainbow Warriors to a 2-1 record at the OUTRIGGER Invitational to claim Big West Setter of the Week for a seventh time this season and a 12th career nod.  

  • The setter averaged 11.50 assists per set while the ’Bows hit .367 and was named to the all-tournament team in the process. Rosenthal also totaled nine kills on 12 errorless swings, 19 digs and four blocks.  

  • In Thursday’s three-setter against Mount Olive, the junior tallied 36 assists with three kills and six digs while leading UH to a season-best .603 team hitting percentage.  

  • The native of Austin, Texas, finished with 46 assists, four kills, an ace, eight digs, and three blocks to close out the weekend in a 3-1 win against Lewis.  

  • Rosenthal currently leads The Big West and is second in the country in assists per set with an average of 11.30 thus far this season.

Freshman of the Week 
Andrej Jokanovic, UC Irvine | Freshman • Outside Hitter • Cannes, France
  • 8136For the fifth time this season, UC Irvine’s Andrej Jokanovic has claimed Big West Freshman of the Week honors.  

  • The first-year player from Cannes, France, paced UCI in a 1-1 week against UC Santa Barbara, averaging 4.11 kills, 4.56 points and 1.33 digs per set with three aces and a pair of blocks against the Gauchos.  

  • In Wednesday’s four-set win at the Bren, Jokanovic put down a match-high 20 kills for the Anteaters.  

  • On the road, the native of Cannes, France, posted a team-best 17 kills with eight digs and a pair of aces and two blocks as UCI fell in five.  

  • Jokanovic ranks third in The Big West and 25th nationally in kills per set with a 3.53 average on the season. He is one of four freshmen in the top 25 in the category.
