Long Beach State freshman infielder Nina Sepulveda batted .614 (8-for-13) with a .846 slugging percentage across four games to earn The Big West Field Player of the Week award, presented by Rawlings. This is the third weekly distinction of Sepulveda's career (FOTW | Feb 16, 23, 2026), but the first of the Field Player of the Week category. 

The freshman recorded a hit in all four contests and produced multiple hits in three games to lead the Beach offense.

Sepulveda paced Long Beach State with five RBI while adding two walks and two stolen bases during the week.

The infielder capped the UC Riverside series with a perfect 3-for-3 performance, adding a double and two runs scored to complete the sweep on the road.

Long Beach State junior pitcher Isabella Alonso went 2-0 with a 0.78 ERA in two home starts versus UC Riverside to earn The Big West Pitcher of the Week award presented by Rawlings. This is the third weekly distinction of Alonso's career (March 20, 2023 | Feb. 16, 2026). 

The right-hander allowed just one run across the week while improving to 9-3 on the season.

Alonso opened the UC Riverside series by striking out a season-high five while allowing four hits in the victory.

Cal State Bakersfield freshman pitcher Cedes Saldana posted a 1.11 ERA across 12.2 innings in three appearances to help the Roadrunners secure their first series win of the year, and the program's first-ever series victory over CSUN, earning The Big West Freshman of the Week award, presented by Rawlings, the first weekly honor of Saldana's career.

The freshman limited CSUN to a .222 batting average while striking out six batters during the series.
