  • 25388 Hawai’i graduate student's Juila Lawrenz and Izadora Stedile went a perfect 6-0 at the No. 1 position to earn Big West Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week honors after leading the Rainbow Wahine to the title at the Heineken Queen’s Cup. 

  • The pairing anchored the top of the lineup throughout the three-day event, helping Hawai’i post a 5-1 team record while collecting four wins that went the distance. In those three-set victories, the duo controlled the decisive frame with an average margin of victory of more than five points.

  • Lawrenz and Stedile also picked up two straight-set wins, including a decisive 21-17, 21-14 result over Emma Eden and Michaela Cyrani that secured the tournament championship for Hawai’i. With the strong weekend, the junior tandem improved to a team-best 8-2 overall on the season while continuing to set the tone at the top spot in the lineup.
