UC San Diego Program Records Propel Erin Condron to Big West Player of the Week Honors

  • 8138Clinching the first spot in the field of the 2026 Credit Union 1 Big West Basketball Championships, Erin Condron of UC San Diego earned a first career Big West Player of the Week award after a record-setting week. 

  • Condron, a junior from Woodend, Victoria, Australia, set the Tritons’ Division I single-game record with 32 points in Thursday’s contest at Long Beach State, recording a seventh double-double of the season with 13 rebounds.  

  • Condron was a career-high 14-for-16 from the free throw line—also a Tritons D-I program record—and shot 60 percent (9-for-15) from the field in the 64-53 victory. 

  • On Saturday, Condron tallied a 20th double-figure scoring effort against Hawai‘i, finishing with 12 points, five rebounds and a career-best three blocks to bring the weekly averages to 22.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 1.5 steals per game.  

  • Condron currently leads The Big West and ranks 30th in NCAA Division I with a 55.0 field goal percentage.
