Offensive Player of the Week 
Jordan Lucas, CSUN | Redshirt Junior • Outside Hitter • Hacienda Heights, Calif.
  • 30415Leading the CSUN offense to a near upset, redshirt junior Jordan Lucas claimed a first career award as Big West Offensive Player of the Week.  

  • On Wednesday at No. 4 USC, Lucas pounded a career-high 30 kills, the most in the nation in a match this season as the Matadors pushed the Trojans to the brink. The outside hitter hit an impressive .509 on 53 swings along with eight digs, three blocks and an ace in the five-setter.  

  • Lucas added seven more kills in Friday’s match against No. 6 Pepperdine to bring the weekly tally to 37, or 4.63 per set. The native of Hacienda Heights, Calif., hit a combined .477 against the pair of Top 10 teams.

Defensive Player of the Week 
Andon Kiriakou, UC Irvine | Junior • Outside Hitter • Toronto, Ontario, Canada
  • 8136UC Irvine junior Andon Kiriakou led the No. 5 Anteaters’ defense in a pair of victories to earn Big West Defensive Player of the Week. This is the first career weekly honor for Kiriakou. 

  • Wednesday, the outside hitter posted a team-high eight digs with a block and seven kills in the 3-1 win against Vanguard. 

  • Kiriakou finished the week with five digs and three total blocks, including two solo stuffs, with four kills and two assists at CUI. The native of Toronto, Ontario, Canada also added an ace each night.  

  • Kiriakou currently rates fourth in The Big West in digs average with 1.82 per set on the season.

Setter of the Week 
Cameron Kosty, UC Irvine | Redshirt Freshman • Setter • Hayward, Calif.
  • Directing UC Irvine to their best start in program history, Cameron Kosty has been named Big West Setter of the Week for the first time.  

  • Kosty guided UCI to a pair of 3-1 road victories while averaging 9.25 assists, 1.00 digs and 0.63 blocks per set at Vanguard and CUI.  

  • The redshirt freshman from Hayward, Calif., totaled 34 assists, four blocks with one solo stuff and an ace at Vanguard to open the week on Wednesday. The team hit .410 in the match. 

  • On Friday, Kosty recorded 40 assists with four kills, four digs and a block at Concordia, bumping the season average to 6.82 assists per set.

Freshman of the Week 
Andrej Jokanovic, UC Irvine | Freshman • Outside Hitter • Cannes, France
  • Andrej Jokanovic picked up a third honor as Big West Freshman of the Week as UC Irvine continued its undefeated season.  

  • Jokanovic averaged 4.38 kills and 1.50 digs per set with four blocks and three aces in a pair of road wins.  

  • The outside hitter started the week with a team-best with 12 kills against Vanguard, coupled with seven digs, two blocks and two aces.  

  • Friday, the native of Cannes, France posted a career-high 23 kills in the win over Concordia, hitting .474 (23-5-38) with five digs and two blocks in the match. Jokanovic also kept an aces streak alive with at least one in every match this season.  

  •   The lone freshman to be named to the 15-player AVCA National Player of the Year Watch List, Jokanovic is second in The Big West in kills average (3.51) and third in points (4.13) while hitting .351 on the season.
