  • CSUN forward Mahmoud Fofana averaged 22.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per game in two victories to earn The Big West Men's Basketball Player of the Week award. It is the first career weekly honor for Fofana.
  • The Matador senior scored 22 points, shooting 8-of-10 from the field and 6-of-9 from the free throw line, with 10 rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in a 94-78 triumph over UC Davis, Thursday night. 
  • Fofana posted an identical stat line of 22 points and 10 rebounds the following game on Saturday, an 81-64 victory over UC San Diego. The San Jose, Calif. product was 8-for-11 from the floor and 6-for-7 from the charity stripe with one assist and one block. 
  • CSUN is 13-10 overall and 6-5 in conference play. Fofana is currently averaging 11.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per game.
