The field and seeding for the 2026 Big West Women’s Soccer Championship are officially set following Saturday’s regular-season finales across the conference on Halloween.

Six teams qualify for the postseason, with regular-season champion Utah Valley and second-seeded UC San Diego earning first-round byes and the right to host semifinal matches.

Utah Valley (13-4-3 Overall, 9-0-2 BW, 29 points) claims the No. 1 seed after completing an unbeaten conference campaign in its inaugural Big West season. The Wolverines rallied from a two-goal halftime deficit to defeat CSUN, 4-2, securing the outright regular-season crown and extending their winning streak to seven matches.

UC San Diego (11-3-5 Overall, 7-1-3 BW, 24 points) earns the No. 2 seed following a 2-0 victory over UC Irvine. The Tritons enter their first Big West Championship riding a four-match winning streak and secure the second first-round bye through their head-to-head victory over Cal State Fullerton.

Cal State Fullerton (10-3-6 Overall, 7-1-3 BW, 24 points) takes the No. 3 seed after a 3-3 draw with California Baptist in the regular-season finale. The Titans return to the postseason for a seventh consecutive season and will host sixth-seeded CSUN in Wednesday’s opening round.

California Baptist (9-3-5 Overall, 4-3-4 BW, 16 points) secures the No. 4 seed and a first-round home match in its debut Big West campaign. The Lancers earned the point needed to finish fourth outright with Saturday’s draw at Fullerton and enter the championship unbeaten in their final four contests.

Defending champion Cal Poly (7-7-5 Overall, 4-4-3 BW, 15 points) returns as the No. 5 seed after closing the regular season with a 3-1 victory over Sacramento State. The Mustangs finish level with CSUN on points and claim the higher seed through the fewest conference goals allowed tiebreaker after the teams tied their head-to-head meeting and finished with identical conference goal differentials.

CSUN (6-8-6 Overall, 4-4-3 BW, 15 points) rounds out the field at No. 6, earning a second consecutive postseason appearance. The Matadors will travel to Cal State Fullerton for a rematch of the teams’ 3-3 draw during conference play.

First-round action begins Wednesday, Nov. 4, as No. 3 Cal State Fullerton hosts No. 6 CSUN at 6 p.m. PT, followed by No. 5 Cal Poly visiting No. 4 California Baptist for a 7 p.m. PT kickoff. The opening-round winners advance to the semifinals on Saturday, Nov. 7. Top-seeded Utah Valley hosts the California Baptist/Cal Poly winner at 6 p.m. MT/5 p.m. PT, followed by No. 2 UC San Diego welcoming the Cal State Fullerton–CSUN winner at 7 p.m. PT.

New this season, the higher seed hosts every round of The Big West Women’s Soccer Championship. The championship match is set for Saturday, Nov. 14, at the home of the higher remaining seed, with kickoff time to be announced.

The winner of the 2026 Big West Women’s Soccer Championship will earn the league’s automatic berth into the 2026 NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer Championship.
