Offensive Player of the Week 
Kristian Titriyski, Hawai'i | Sophomore • Opposite Hitter • Sofia, Bulgaria
  • After a pair of Hawai'i sweeps to open the season, sophomore Kristian Titriyski claimed Big West Offensive Player of the Week for a third career time. Titriski also earned honors Feb. 10 and March 3, 2025. 

  • The opposite hitter posted double figure kills in both wins over NJIT, and finished the weekend as the only player on either team to reach double figures in both matches. In the home opener, Titriyski finished with 12 kills on .455 hitting with four digs and a pair of aces and blocks.  

  • Titriyski finished the two-match series averaging 3.83 kills per set on .439 hitting and 5.17 points per set that included a team-best five service aces. Titriyski also added five digs and six total blocks. 

Defensive Player of the Week 
Tread Rosenthal, Hawai'i | Junior • Setter • Austin, Texas
  • Hawai'i junior Tread Rosenthal picked up a first career Big West Defensive Player of the Week award after guiding the Rainbow Warriors to a pair of season-opening sweeps.  

  • Defensively, Rosenthal led the second-ranked Rainbow Warriors with 11 blocks in the series for an average of 1.83 blocks per set over six sets.  

  • In Friday's season-opener, the product of Austin, Texas, tied a career-high with eight blocks (2.67 per set) with a pair of digs and three service aces. Rosenthal also added 26 assists and two kills from the setter position.  

  • Sunday, Rosenthal added three more blocks with five digs and 30 assists (10.00 per set) in UH's second sweep over the NJIT Highlanders. 

  • Rosenthal directed the 'Bows' offense to a combined .517 hitting percentage in the series with only 11 attack errors in 118 attempts in the efficient weekend. 

Setter of the Week 
Tread Rosenthal, Hawai'i | Junior • Setter • Austin, Texas
  • Hawai'i junior floor general Tread Rosenthal directed the Rainbow Warriors to two season-opening sweeps of NJIT to claim Big West Setter of the Week for the sixth time in his career. Coupled with freshman honors and this week's defensive award, Rosenthal has been tapped as a weekly winner on 13 occasions.  

  • Rosenthal directed the second-ranked UH team offense to a combined .517 hitting percentage in the series with only 11 attack errors in 118 attempts in the efficient weekend. 

  • In Friday's season-opener, the product of Austin, Texas, tallied 26 assists and two kills while tying a career-high with eight blocks (2.67 per set), a pair of digs and three service aces.  

  • In Sunday's rematch, Rosenthal dished out 30 assists, or 10.00 per set, while adding three more blocks and five digs in UH's second sweep over the NJIT Highlanders. 

  • Defensively, Rosenthal led the Rainbow Warriors with 11 blocks in the series for an average of 1.83 blocks per set over six sets on the court. 

Freshman of the Week 
Magnus Hettervik, Hawai'i | Freshman • Setter • Stavanger, Norway
  • 8036Hawai'i first-year setter Magnus Hettervik earned a first career weekly honor, named The Big West Freshman of the Week.  

  • Hettervik, a setter from Stavanger, Norway, made his collegiate debut in Sunday's sweep of NJIT. Playing in two sets, Hettervik contributed three assists to go along with a first career ace in the second set of the match.
