- UC Santa Barbara senior Lucca Liu went unbeaten in singles and doubles competitions to earn The Big West Men's Tennis Player of the Week honor. It is Liu's first career weekly honor from the conference.
- The Gaucho senior, paired with Miguel Avendano, defeated Pacific's Reuben De Klerk/C. Schaertlin Coffey in No. 2 doubles, 7-6 (5). In No. 1 singles, Liu downed Terence Das in straight sets, 6-1, 6-0. The Gauchos prevailed over the Tigers in the team competition, 4-0.
- Liu and Avendano took care of UCLA's 47th-ranked pair of Rudy Quan and Aadarsh Tripathi in No. 2 doubles, 6-2. In No. 1 singles, Liu defeated the 53rd-ranked Quan in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4. The Gauchos upset the No. 10 Bruins, 4-1, in the team battle.
