Offensive Player of the Week 
William D'Arcy, UC Irvine | Senior • Opposite • Brisbane, Queensland, Australia
  • Helping No. 5 UC Irvine to a pair of five-set wins at No. 8 BYU, William D’Arcy has earned back-to-back Big West Offensive Player of the Week awards.  

  • D’Arcy continued a dominant senior season, posting a career-high 22 kills in the second win over Cougars, recording four kills in six swings in the fifth set. The opposite hitter finished at .462 (22-4-39) for the match with three digs and three block assists 

  • In the first meeting, D’Arcy totaled 16 kills, two digs and three blocks in the reverse sweep. UCI used a 7-1 run that included two block assists by D’Arcy in the fifth set to complete the comeback 

  • For the week, the native of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, averaged 3.80 kills on .368 hitting, 4.10 points, seven digs and six blocks. D’Arcy’s .423 season hitting percentage rates third in the league and 16th nationally.

Defensive Player of the Week 
Trevor Clark, UC Irvine | Junior • Middle Blocker • Lake Elsinore, Calif.
  • After a dominant week in Provo, Utah, UC Irvine middle blocker Trevor Clark has been tapped for a first career weekly honor as Big West Defensive Player of the Week.  

  • Clark dominated on both sides of the ball in a pair of five-set victories against No. 8 BYU, averaging 1.20 blocks and 2.40 kills while hitting .639 (21-1-36). 

  • In the first meeting with the Cougars, Clark posted a team-high five total blocks and a career-high 13 kills, hitting .650 on 20 swings without an error. With UC Irvine trailing 8-12 in the fifth set, Clark had two kills and three blocks, including a solo stuff to win the match.  

  • In the rematch, the junior from Lake Elsinore, Calif., recorded a career-high seven block assists and put down 11 kills. 

  • Clark is averaging 1.269 blocks per set on the season to rank second in The Big West and 10th in the country.

Setter of the Week 
Owen Douphner, CSUN | Redshirt Sophomore • Setter • Stevenson Ranch, Calif.
  • 30415CSUN setter Owen Douphner claimed a first career nod as Big West Setter of the Week after directing the Matadors to the sweep in their lone match of the week.  

  • Douphner handed out 32 assists along with seven digs, two blocks, one ace and five kills on six swings to hit .833. The 3-0 victory over LIU was CSUN’s fifth in six tries to open the season.  

  • The redshirt sophomore from Stevenson Ranch, Calif., guided the CSUN hitters to 46 kills and just nine errors on 80 swings as the Matadors hit .463. 

  • On the season, Douphner is averaging 9.57 assists per set to land in third in The Big West and 20th in NCAA Division I.

Freshman of the Week 
Andrej Jokanovic, UC Irvine | Freshman • Outside Hitter • Cannes, France
  • Following a career week on the court against No. 8 BYU, UC Irvine’s Andrej Jokanovic has been named The Big West Freshman of the Week for consecutive weeks. 

  • On Thursday, Jokanovic led UCI in the reverse sweep against the Cougars with a career-high 19 kills and just two errors to hit .436 (19-2-39). The outside hitter added five assists, a dig, an ace and a block assist in the contest.  

  • In Friday’s five-set victory, Jokanovic posted a first career double-double with 14 kills and a career-high 10 digs with two blocks.  

  • Hailing from Cannes, France, Jokanovic rates 24th in the country and second in The Big West in kills per set with a 3.42 average.
