- Cal State Fullerton guard Josh Ward filled the stat sheet, averaging 19.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 3.5 steals and 2.0 blocks per game in two wins to earn The Big West Men's Basketball Player of the Week award. It is the first career weekly honor for Ward.
- The Titan senior scored 21 points, shooting 7-of-11 from the floor and 6-for-6 from the charity stripe, with nine rebounds, four assists and four steals in a 71-61 home win over Long Beach State, Thursday night.
- The Memphis, Tenn. product produced 18 points, eight ebounds, seven assists, three steals and three blocks in a 93-78 road victory at Cal Poly on Saturday.
- Cal State Fullerton is on a two-game win streak with a 10-12 overall record and a 5-5 conference mark. Ward is currently averaging 14.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.7 steals per game.
