  • Hawai'i senior Azuma Visaya had two wins in singles and one wins in doubles competition to earn The Big West Men's Tennis Player of the Week honor. It is Visaya's fourth career weekly honor, having won it three times last season. 
  • In the season opener against No. 15 California, the Rainbow Warrior senior came back to defeat Fryderyk Lchno-Wasiutynski in a third set super tiebreaker, 6-3, 5-7, 1-0 (10-5). In the deciding tiebreaker, Visaya jumped out to a 5-0 lead en route to the 10-5 win.
  • Against Gonxaga's Giovanni Branchetti, the Honolulu product cruised to a straight set win, 6-1, 6-4. 
  • In doubles, Visaya and partner Toa Maeda notched their first win of 2026 holding off Gonzaga's Nicholas Reeves/Oscar Rashed by a break, 6-4
