  • Wes Hastings compiled one goal and one assist as UC Riverisde went 1-0-1 in two games to win The Big West Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week award. It is the first career weekly honor for Hastings.
  • The senior forward tallied one goal and one assist in 45 minutes in a 1-1 tie against Air Force, Monday. 
  • Hastings played 40 minutes on the road at UNLV, Friday, leading the Highlanders to a 2-0 victory. 
  • UC Riverside is currently 1-2-1 to start the 2025 season. Hastings now has four career goals, one in each season since 2022.

  • Cal Poly goalkeeper Nicky McCune recorded a shutout on the road to earn The Big West Defensive Player of the Week honor. It is McCune's fifth career weekly award, having won it four times last season. 
  • The senior matched a season-high five saves in the Mustangs' 3-0 win at Air Force, Friday. It was the season's first shutout recorded by McCune and Cal Poly. 
     
  • Cal Poly is 1-2 to begin the year. McCune has compiled 10 saves so far.

Casey Tanner, Cal Poly | Freshman • Defender • Ladera Ranch, Calif.

  • Cal Poly freshman Casey Tanner scored a goal to secure The Big West Men's Soccer Freshman of the Week award. It is Tanner's first career weekly honor. 
  • The Ladera Rach, Calif. product put away a goal in Cal Poly's 3-0 win at Air Force, Friday. The score, which was the eventual game-winner, was also the first career shot attempt, a 12th-minute header, by the rookie.     
  •  Cal Poly is 1-2 to begin the year.
