Offensive Player of the Week Wyatt Ponting, UC Riverside | Sophomore • Forward • Claremont, Calif.

• UC Riverside’s Wyatt Ponting scored a goal in an unbeaten week to earn The Big West Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week award. It is the first career weekly honor for Ponting.

• The forward came in as a sub and scored the equalizing goal In Monday’s game against LMU that ended in a 1-1 draw.

• Ponting played the full 90 minutes in a 1-1 tie against California Baptist, Friday.

• UC Riverside is currently 3-3-2, riding a two-game unbeaten streak.

• UC Santa Barbara goalkeeper Owen Beninga recorded a shutout for The Big West Defensive Player of the Week award. It is Beninga’s first career weekly honor

• The freshman recorded five saves in a 0-0 draw at home against Cal Poly, Saturday in front of a crowd of 7,447. 

• UC Santa Barbara has a 2-4-3 record. Beninga has recorded two shutouts this season.
