Corbin Stanley Secures Second Weekly Accolade for LBSU

  • 32247Long Beach State sophomore center Corbin Stanley scored five goals across two matches to earn The Big West Men’s Water Polo Player of the Week to help the Beach to a weekend split. This is the second weekly distinction of Stanley's career after earning the final recognition of 2024 on Nov. 20. 

  • Against No. 2 nationally-ranked USC, Stanley tallied a team-high two goals while also drawing three ejections. The Beach fell in a close matchup. 9-13.

  • In the following game during a victory over Chapman, the sophomore netted a hat trick and added a steal to pace LBSU’s offense. 

  • Stanley finished the week with five goals, pushing the center’s season total to double figures at 17, placing second on the team.
