  • Misael Gonzalez Lopez scored three goals in UC Irvine's two wins to claim The Big West Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week award. It is the first career weekly honor for Gonzalez Lopez.
  • The senior forward scored twice in Thursday's 4-0 win against Cal State LA. 
  • Gonzalez Lopez contributed in the Anteaters' 3-0 triumph over North Florida, Sunday, with a goal. 
  • UC Irvine is currently 3-0 to start the 2025 season. Gonzalez Lopez has tallied three scores on the season and eight goals in his career.

  • Junior defender Jacob Blach limited the UC Santa Barbara opposition to just one goal in 180 minutes of play to earn The Big West Defensive Player of the Week honor. It is the first career accolade for Blach. 
  • The junior defender helped limit Central Arkansas to just one goal in a 2-1 Gaucho victory, Monday night. 
  • Blach and the UCSB defense turned in their first clean sheet of the season, Thursday, in a 3-0 win. 
  • UC Santa Barbara is 2-1 to begin the year. The Gauchos have not allowed a goal in their last 137 minutes of play.

  • The San Clemente, Calif. product scored a goal in UC Santa Barbara's dominant 3-0 win over North Florida, Thursday night. The freshman capped off the Gaucho win with an 88th minute score.
