Isabella Cruz, Trinity Hale, and Ava Tibor Take Home Second Set of Weekly Awards

Offensive Player of the Week 
Isabella Cruz, Cal State Fullerton | Senior • Forward/Midfielder • Kerman, Calif. 
  • 27265Cal State Fullerton's Isabella Cruz earned The Big West Offensive Player of the Week honors after totaling five points across a pair of Titan victories. This is the first weekly distinction of the senior's career. 

  • Cruz netted the lone goal in a 1-0 road win at Portland, securing the program's first-ever victory over the Pilots and its first victory of the season.

  • Back home Sunday, the forward/midfielder assisted on CSF's opening strike before converting a penalty kick for the eventual game-winner in a 2-1 decision over UTEP.  

  • With two game-winning goals and an assist on the week, Cruz leads the Titans in both categories.

Defensive Player of the Week 
Trinity Hale, UC Riverside | Junior • Goalkeeper • Murrieta, Calif. 
  • 8135UC Riverside's Trinity Hale recorded a career clean sheet in a scoreless draw against UTEP to earn The Big West Defensive Player of the Week. This is the first weekly distinction of the junior's career. 

  • The Highlander newcomer turned away three shots to keep the Miners off the board during the keeper's debut in net. 

  • Hale went the full 90 minutes to anchor a UCR back line and secure a shutout during the netminder's first career start.

Freshman of the Week 
Ava Tibor, UC San Diego • Forward/Defender • Woodland Hills, Calif. 
  • 8138Ava Tibor claims consecutive Big West Freshman of the Week awards after recording another pace for UC San Diego to lift the Tritons to a 3-2 win over UNLV.  This is the second weekly distinction of Tibor's career (Aug. 18, 2025). 

  • Both scores came in the first half with Tibor converting a penalty kick in the sixth minute before tapping in another tally during the 29' off an impressive feed close inside from Lindsey Park. 

  • The freshman leads The Big West with four goals and eight points, doubling the output of any other player in the conference after two weeks of play.
