Izabella Martinez managed to collect a team-high five hits while hitting safely in all three games to take home The Big West Field Player of the Week award. This is the third weekly distinction of the senior's career after earning recognition in back-to-back weeks (April 10, April 17) back in 2023.

The infielder came up big converting a two-RBI single with the bases loaded to tie the score 2-2 in UH's rubber game 3-2 win against UC Riverside.

Martinez led the Rainbow Wahine in batting average on the week with a .556 mark while notching a double in game two.

With five hits this week, Martinez's has tallied a UH best nine multi-hit games this season while also hitting safely in each of the last three Big West games to increase the number to a nine-game hit streak.

Overall, the senior sees the team lead in hitting with an overall average of .368 and .413 clip during conference play.

Pitcher of the Week

Trisha McCleskey collects the first Big West Pitcher of the Week award of the redshirt-sophomore's career after helping toss Cal State Fullerton to a season sweep over archrival Long Beach State.

During two contests against the Beach, McCleskey gave up only two runs across four hits in 9.2 inning of work. McClesky picked up the pitcher's 10th win of the season which ranks in a sixth-place tie for most wins in the league.

In the circle, the pitcher sat down five members of LBSU and walked a lone batter alongside a 2.63 ERA on the week.

McClesky currently leads The Big West in saves (2) and ranks fifth overall in batters struck out looking (20).

Nataly Lozano of Cal State Fullerton lands The Big West Freshman of the Week recognition for the second time this season (March 10) after aiding the Titans to a 3 straight victories versus Long Beach State.

Lozano highlighted CSF with a rocket throw from right field to halt the potential game-tying run at third base during game one of the series. In the field, the freshman recorded seven putouts and added an assist.
- Offensively, the Cula Vista native contributed a .400/.400/.500 slashing line alongside a double and team-leading four RBI.
