- Hawai'i senior Ana Vilcek went 2-0 in singles to earn The Big West Women's Tennis Player of the Week award. It is the the Pancevo, Serbia product's third career weekly honor, having won the award once in each of the last two seasons.
- On Wednesday, Vilcek nearly fired a shutout against Cal Poly's Kennedy Buntrock, winning 6-1, 6-0, at the No. 1 position.
- The senior upset 10th-ranked Amelia Honer of UC Santa Barbara on Saturday at the top flight. The two split the first two sets, but Vilcek was able to hold off Honer in a third set super tie-breaker, 6-3, 5-7, 1-0 (10-8).
- Vilcek is 8-3 overall in singles play this season, 6-2 at the top position and 2-1 at No. 2.
