Ella Ertelova (Sr., Zilinam Slovakia) and Vivi Kaelin (So., Lake Oswego, Oreg.) | Cal State Bakersfield

  • 25383Ella Erteltova and Vivi Kaelin put on a flawless 6-0 performance in the top spot of the lineup to collect the Big West Pairs Teams of the Week for Cal State Bakersfield.  

  • The pairing posted victories against six separate opponents, with three two-set wins over Cal State LA (21-6, 21-4), Portland (21-18, 22-20) and Colorado Mesa (22-20, 21-10). 

  • Eterltova and Kaelin also earned three hard-fought three-set triumphs on the weekend showing resiliency over conference foe CSUN (21-19, 12-21, 15-12), Saint Mary’s (18-21, 21-14, 15-9), and Boise State (13-21, 21-19, 15-12).  

  • The duo improved to 24-4 overall in 2025 and recorded their 52nd win as a pair.
