Offensive Player of the Week
Hilir Henno, UC Irvine | Senior • Outside Hitter • Pornichet, France
  • 8136UC Irvine’s Hilir Henno was instrumental in a pair of sweeping victories to claim a season’s third and 10th career nod as Big West Offensive Player of the Week.  

  • Henno posted averages 4.17 kills, 0.83 aces, 5.25 points and 1.00 digs in three-set wins against No. 8 Pepperdine and Sacred Heart. 

  • The outside hitter started the week with a team-best 15 kills to go with two aces, five digs and three block assists against the Waves on Friday.  

  • Saturday, the native of Pornichet, France, totaled 10 kills with three assists and a block against the Pioneers 

  • Henno has recorded double-digit kills in all but one match this season, and averages 4.29 kills per set on the year which rates fourth in national collegiate volleyball. Henno leads The Big West and is third nationally in points per set (5.25) while standing in second in the country and the conference in aces per set (.673).

Defensive Player of the Week
Nick Rigo | Senior • Middle Blocker • Laguna Niguel, Calif.
  • 8138Helping UC San Diego to a pair of wins, senior Nick Rigo claimed Big West Defensive Player of the Week honors for a first career weekly award. 

  • Rigo hit a team-best .632 with 12 kills and no errors in 19 attack attempts in a sweep of Sacred Heard and conference-opening road win at UC Santa Barbara.  

  • The middle blocker finished with four kills and one block in Wednesday’s three-setter against the Pioneers.  

  • Friday, the product of Laguna Niguel, Calif., produced a career- and match-high nine blocks as the Tritons took care of the Gauchos, 3-1. Rigo hit .571 in the match with eight kills on 14 errorless swings.

Setter of the Week
Tread Rosenthal, Hawai'i | Sophomore • Setter • Austin, Texas
  • Hawai’i setter Tread Rosenthal won a third consecutive Big West Setter of the Week award after guiding the Rainbow Warriors to a series sweep against Lindenwood. This is Rosenthal’s fourth weekly setter award of the 2025 campaign.  

  • The sophomore averaged 10.29 assists per set as UH hit a collective .390 against Lindenwood, as the team hit for a season for a season-high .522 in the series opener. Rosenthal finished with 35 assists in the sweep. 

  • In Friday’s series finale, Rosenthal provided five kills, six digs and three blocks to go along with 37 assists in a four-set victory.  

  •  The Austin, Texas, native leads The Big West and is third nationally in assists per set at 10.89.

Freshman of the Week
Kristian Titriyski, Hawai'i | Freshman • Outside Hitter • Sofia, Bulgaria
  • For a third consecutive week and fourth time this season Hawai’i opposite hitter Kristian Titriyski has earned Big West Freshman of the Week honors.  

  • The first-year player from Sofia, Bulgaria, averaged 4.50 kills on .340 hitting and 5.17 points per set during UH's two-match series sweep of Lindenwood. Titriyski also averaged 1.33 digs and 0.67 blocks per set on the weekend. 

  • The opposite hitter finished with eight kills while hitting .583 with two blocks in only two sets of action in the series opener.  

  • Titriyski tallied 19 kills along with a season-high eight digs and two blocks in a four-set victory in the series finale.  

  • For the season, Titriyski rates in the top five nationally in both kills average (4.23 - 5th) and points average (5.13 - 4th).
