Player of the Week Scotty Washington, CSUN | Junior • Forward • Del Amo, Calif.

• CSUN’s Scotty Washington scored 29 points in a win to claim The Big West Men's Basketball Player of the Week award. It is Washington’s second career weekly honor, having won it earlier this year on Feb. 3.
   
• The Matador junior compiled 29 points, four rebounds and two assists in an 89-85 home victory against Cal Poly, Saturday night. 16 of Washington's 29 points came in the second half. It was CSUN's lone game of the week. 
   
• The Del Amo, Calif. native shot 10-for-16 from the floor, 5-for-8 from long distance and 4-for-4 from the charity stripe. 

• The Matadors are currently 18-7 overall with a 10-4 conference mark. Washington is averaging a league 10th-best 14.8 points per game.
