Six Spectacular Women’s Soccer Student-Athletes Earn United Soccer Coaches All-West Region Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. —The Big West is proud to announce its student-athletes named to the 2025 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Women’s All-West Region Teams, recognizing standout performances from across the league during the 2025 season.

The Big West is represented by six student-athletes who were honored across First, Second, and Third Team distinctions.

2025 Big West champion Jessie Halladay headlines the group as the lone standout on the first team after netting a conference-best 10 goals (two GWGs in Big West Championship), helping lead the Mustangs’ offensive charge. The Los Gatos, Calif native was named the 2025 Big West Championship MVP and helped the Mustangs secure their first appearance in the national postseason in 21 years.

UC Irvine’s Mia Colombini earned a second-team nod following a 2025 campaign that saw the senior score a Big West-best five times in conference play (7 goals overall). Colombini capped off the year as the 2025 Big West Midfielder of the Year alongside a spot on the All-Big West first team.

The remaining four student-athletes were honored on the third team.

2025 Big West Goalkeeper of the Year Isaac Ranson concluded the year with 12 shutouts. Ranson recorded a historic season in goal, breaking Cal State Fullerton’s program records for saves (341), shutouts (30), and minutes played (6,754), all of which rank among the top five marks in Big West history.

Suus de Bakker, of UC Irvine from Amsterdam, Netherlands, earned her Third Team spot after contributing five goals from the backline, helping shore up the Anteaters defensively while also adding offense. The Defender was also named an All-Big West first-team honoree.

The Titans take on another third-team selection with Camryn Cruz. Cruz finished second on the CSF with 13 points and six goals, added an assist, and tied for sixth in the conference in total points while also ranking among the national leaders with five game-winning goals.

CP’s Annika Smith rounds out the list of honorees on the pristine list. Smith started all 19 matches for the Mustangs, contributing seven goals, three assists, and three game-winners. The junior forward also earned two Big West Offensive Player of the Week honors and secured her first All-Big West First Team selection, extending her streak to three straight seasons with conference recognition.

The United Soccer Coaches will announce its 2025 All-Americans for NCAA Division I women’s soccer on Friday, Dec. 5.
