The Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) announced its 2025 Men's Water Polo All-America Teams, recognizing six Big West student-athletes for their standout performances during the season, headlined by a Third Team selection for Tommy Kiesling of UC Davis.
A redshirt sophomore from Burlingame, Calif., Kiesling earns Third Team All-America honors after powering UC Davis to a conference championship, becoming one of the top attackers in The Big West. Kiesling finished the season as the Aggies' leading scorer with 65 goals (T-2nd most in The Big West) while consistently delivering in high-pressure moments, registering a hat-trick in the Championship Final. The accolade marks a major milestone for Kiesling, further cementing the attacker's emergence as a premier scorer after earning an honorable mention nod last year.
Five additional Big West student-athletes garnered Honorable Mention recognition for their 2025 campaigns.
Gabi Acosta of Long Beach State earns the nod after being named Big West Player of the Year in back-to-back seasons. Acosta led the conference in goals with 68 (2.7 per game), helping aid LBSU to a 2025 regular-season championship and appearance in the Championship Final. The Barcelona, Spain native notched ACWPC All-American Second Team honors last year in 2024.
For the second straight season, UC San Diego's Bennett Axline earns honorable mention after another strong year for the Tritons. The utility player shined bright in Big West action, averaging 1.8 tallies per conference contest across 43 total tallies on the season. Axline also added five assists on the year.
Long Beach State junior Caleb Francisco adds an Honorable Mention distinction after a consistent season as an attacker. Francisco finished with 59 goals, supplying scoring depth as the second leading scorer for the 2025 regular-season champion Beach. Back in late October, Francisco found the back of the net a career-best eight times against Fordham, becoming The Big West Player of the Week.
UC Santa Barbara redshirt-senior Levi Lentin earns recognition in cage. Lentin ranked among the conference leaders with 181 saves (5th overall), a .431 save percentage, and 26 steals, serving as the backbone of the Gauchos' defensive unit throughout the season.
Rounding out the list is another UCSB representative, Brock Zamanian, who capped the redshirt-senior's career with an honorable mention selection for the second straight season. Zamanian tallied 59 goals, ranking among the Big West's top scorers (T-6th overall), as UCSB's primary offensive weapon.
