Offensive Player of the Week 
Eva Travis, UC Santa Barbara | Redshirt Sophomore • Outside Hitter • Aliso Viejo, Calif.
  • 8134Finishing the regular season on a high, UC Santa Barbara sophomore Eva Travis claimed a first career nod as Big West Offensive Player of the Week award. 

  • Travis averaged 5.14 kills, 5.36 points and 1.29 digs per set in wins over UC Irvine and Cal State Fullerton to secure the fourth seed in The Hawaiian Islands presents the 2025 Outrigger Big West Women’s Volleyball Championship.  

  • On Friday, the redshirt sophomore from Aliso Viejo, Calif., powered down 30 kills on .354 hitting with six digs and two blocks in a five-set win over the Anteaters. The 30-kill outing rates as a career high and the highest kill count in a match by a Big West player this season.  

  • The outside hitter added six kills on 11 attempts to hit .455 in Saturday’s tidy three-set match at Cal State Fullerton.  

  • Heading into the postseason, Travis ranks second in the conference in kills (3.83) and points (4.31) per set.

Defensive Player of the Week 
Ximena Cordero Barr, UC Davis | Sophomore • Libero • Tijuana, Mexico
  • 8137Helping UC Davis to their first-ever Big West regular-season title, Ximena Cordero Barr held the back line to claim the final Big West Defensive Player of the Week award of the season. This marks Cordero Barr’s third such award of the season. 

  • In a five-set thriller with CSUN on Thursday night, the sophomore libero popped up a career-best 36 digs in the comeback victory.  

  • Two nights later in a matchup with Cal State Bakersfield, the native of Tijuana, Mexico, delivered another solid performance with 12 digs and three assists in the sweep over the Roadrunners.  

  • Cordero Barr is averaging 4.59 digs per set this season, second in The Big West and 40th overall in NCAA Division I.

Setter of the Week 
Mia Starr, UC Davis | Junior • Setter • Portland, Ore.
  • As the catalyst for the Aggie offense, Mia Starr of UC Davis secured Big West Setter of the Week honors for the fourth time this season and a fifth career nod.  

  • The junior from Portland, Ore., collected 94 assists across two matches to average 11.75 assists per set in a pair of victorious efforts to help propel the Aggies to their first Big West regular-season championship in program history.  

  • In a comeback win over CSUN on Thursday night, Starr collected 50+ assists for the second time this season with 51 on the night, also grabbing nine digs and one block in the victory.  

  • Against Cal State Bakersfield two nights later, the junior had a double-double for the eighth time this season with 43 assists and 15 digs, also collecting two total blocks. 

  • Starr is pacing The Big West with 10.41 assists per set, good for 23rd nationally.

Freshman of the Week 
Logan King, Long Beach State | Redshirt Freshman • Opposite Hitter • Newmarket, Ontario, Canada
  • 8042First-year player Logan King closed out the regular season with two more outstanding matches for Long Beach State to claim a season’s seventh Big West Freshman of the Week award. 

  • King led Long Beach State in kills in both matches, hitting .409 with 11 kills at UC San Diego before finishing the regular season with 18 kills on .359 hitting at Hawai'i. 

  • The opposite hitter from Newmarket, Ontario, Canada, finished with a double-double against the Rainbow Wahine as well, scooping up 10 digs as the Beach secured the third seed in The Hawaiian Islands presents the 2025 Outrigger Big West Championship, hosted at LBS Financial Credit Union Pyramid.  

  • King is third in the conference in both kills (3.62) and points (4.20) per set.
