The field and seeds are set for the 2025 Big West Men’s Soccer Championship after Saturday’s five matches to conclude the regular-season slate. With a three-way tie at the top of the table, UC Santa Barbara, UC Irvine and Cal Poly will share the regular-season title as tri-champions.

UC Santa Barbara (6-4-8, 4-0-5 Big West, 17 points) is the No. 1 seed in The Big West Men’s Soccer Championship. The Gauchos separated themselves with their head-to-head record against the Anteaters and Mustangs. UC Santa Barbara earns a bye and will host one leg of the semifinal round, currently scheduled on Saturday, Nov. 8 and the final, on Friday, Nov. 14, if victorious.

UC Irvine (9-3-6, 4-0-5 Big West, 17 points) is the No. 2 seed. The Anteaters defeated UC Riverside 3-2 on the final matchday to move into a tie for first place. UC Irvine edged out Cal Poly in the tiebreaker to earn a first-round bye. The Anteaters will host the other leg of the semifinal round on Saturday, Nov. 8.

Cal Poly (8-5-5, 5-2-2 Big West, 17 points) is the No. 3 seed and will host a first-round match against No. 6 seed UC San Diego (2-8-7, 2-2-5 Big West, 11 points). The Tritons earned the final spot in the championship with a dramatic 1-0 victory over Cal State Fullerton and owning the head-to-head tiebreaker against Cal State Bakersfield. The Mustangs defeated the Tritons 4-0 in the regular season. The advancing team will play No. 2 seed UC Irvine in the next round.

On the other side of the bracket, No. 4 seed Cal State Fullerton (8-6-5, 5-3-1 Big West, 16 points) will welcome No. 5 seed UC Davis (4-8-5, 4-3-2 Big West, 14 points) to Titan Stadium. The Aggies won the regular-season matchup 2-1. The advancing team will play top-seeded UC Santa Barbara in the semifinals.

The finals of The Big West Championship will be hosted by the remaining top seed on Friday, Nov. 14, with David Gascon (play-by-play) and Christian Miles (color) on the call on ESPN+. The Big West champion earns an automatic entry into the 2025 NCAA Division I Men’s Soccer Championship. The 48-team field for the national tournament will be unveiled live on NCAA.com on Monday, Nov. 17.
