Offensive Player of the Week 
Logan King, Long Beach State | Redshirt Freshman • Opposite Hitter • Newmarket, Ontario, Canada
  • 8042After leading Long Beach State to a pair of wins, Logan King has claimed a second career Big West Offensive Player of the Week award, to go along with a sixth weekly freshman nod.  

  • The opposite hitter had a dominant week while leading the Beach over UC Riverside and UC Davis, hitting a combined .407 while averaging 3.86 kills and 3.14 digs per set.  

  • In Thursday’s sweep of the Highlanders, King put down 11 kills on .526 hitting (11-1-19) with nine digs and a pair of blocks.  

  • The redshirt freshman from Newmarket, Ontario, Canada, then led the Beach team that handed the Aggies just their second league loss, finishing with 16 kills on .343 hitting with 13 digs in the four-setter.  

  • King rates third in The Big West in both kills (3.58) and points (4.17) per set.

Defensive Player of the Week 
Campbell Jensen, UC Irvine | Senior • Libero • Burbank, Calif.
  • 8136Helping UC Irvine to a road split over the weekend, libero Campbell Jensen has been selected as The Big West Defensive Player of the Week. This is Jensen’s third defensive honor of the season and fourth overall. 

  • The senior totaled 18 digs with five assists in a five-set loss at CSUN on Thursday to open the weekend.  

  • Friday saw the Burbank, Calif., native scoop up 27 digs with six assists and an ace in a four-set victory at Cal State Bakersfield.   

  • Jensen leads The Big West in digs per set with a 4.62 average, which stands in 39th in NCAA Division I.

Setter of the Week 
Madi Maxwell, Long Beach State | Sophomore • Setter • Newhall, Calif.
  • Long Beach State’s Madi Maxwell helped guide the team to a pair of wins and .304 hitting en route to a third career nod as Big West Setter of the Week.  

  • Averaging 10.29 assists per set, Maxwell also added 10 kills, 14 digs and eight blocks in wins against UC Riverside and UC Davis. 

  • In the sweep of the Highlanders, the sophomore served up a pair of aces and 32 assists with three kills.  

  • Maxwell then followed that up with a double-double of 40 assists with 10 digs and seven kills as LBSU handed the league-leading Aggies just their second conference loss on the year.  

  • The Newhall, Calif., native upped the season average to 9.17 assists per set, which lands third in The Big West statistical rankings.
