Player of the Week Marqui Worthy Jr., UC Riverside | Junior • Guard • Anaheim, Calif.

• UC Riverside guard Marqui Worthy Jr. averaged 18.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game, while shooting 68.4 percent from the floor, in two wins to earn The Big West Men's Basketball Player of the Week award. It is the first career weekly honor for Worthy Jr.

• The junior dropped 16 points, on 7-of-10 shooting, six rebounds, two assists and three steals in a 90-49 season and home opener against La Sierra, Monday. 

• Worthy Jr. finished with a game-high 21 points, going 6-for-9 from the field and 9-for-11 from the charity stripe, to go along with five rebounds, five assists, and two steals in a 74-70 road victory over North Dakota, Thursday night. 

• UC Riverside is 2-0 to start the 2025 season.
