Camryn Cruz and Ameera White Earn Weekly Recognition While Riley Liebsack Locks Second Straight Honor

Offensive Player of the Week 
Camryn Cruz, Cal State Fullerton | R-Junior • Midfielder • Long Beach State, Calif. 
  • 27265Cal State Fullerton’s Camryn Cruz helped the Titans remain unbeaten and also earn a pair of conference victories to claim Big West Offensive Player of the Week honors. This is the first weekly distinction of Cruz’s career.    

  • Cruz recorded a brace in a 2-0 win over UC Davis, marking the fourth and fifth goals of the midfield’s season.

Defensive Player of the Week 
Riley Liebsack, Cal Poly | R-Senior • Goalkeeper • Torrance, Calif. 
  • 22607CSUN goalkeeper Riley Liebsack claimed back-to-back Big West Defensive Player of the Week honors, adding the senior’s fourth shutout of the season against UCSD. This is the second weekly distinction of Liebsack’s career (Sept. 29, 2025).  

  • Liebsack tallied a season-high eight saves against 20 total shots, including five in the second half to preserve the result. 

  • The senior added two more saves in a 2-0 triumph over UC Riverside, extending a personal streak to three consecutive shutouts and a scoreless start in conference play. 

  • With six shutouts this season (second most in the Big West), Liebsack has led the league in GAA at 0.85.5.

Freshman of the Week 
Ameera White, Long Beach State | Midfielder • San Diego, Calif. 
  • 32247Long Beach State’s Ameera White helped extend the Beach’s unbeaten streak to six matches and take home Big West Freshman of the Week honors. This is the first weekly distinction of White’s career.    

  • The midfielder assisted on both the second and third goals in a 3-0 victory over UC Riverside to open the week. 

  • White added another assist on the opening strike in a 1-1 draw against UC Irvine, continuing a strong debut campaign for the Beach.
