Jaiden Gore Gathers First Weekly Honors, Isaac Ranson Records Third of 2025

Offensive Player of the Week 
Jaiden Gore, Cal State Bakersfield | R-Freshman • Midfielder • Bakersfield, Calif. 
  • 8014Jaiden Gore netted the game-winning strike in Cal State Bakersfield’s lone match of the week, a 2-1 comeback victory over Hawai‘i that secured the Roadrunners’ postseason. This is the first weekly Big West Offensive Player of the Week distinction of Gore’s career. 

  • The first-year forward buried a blistering free kick from 25 yards out, sending a low drive into the bottom right corner to seal the victory for CSUB in the 63rd minute.  

  • Gore’s tally marked the Bakersfield natives’ third goal of the season, all three serving as game-winners.

Defensive Player of the Week 
Issac Ranson, Cal State Fullerton | R-Senior • Goalkeeper • Oxnard, Calif. 
  • 27265For the ninth time of the goalkeeper’s career, Isaac Ranson has been named The Big West Defensive Player of the Week after recording consecutive shutouts for Cal State Fullerton. This is the third weekly distinction Ranson has been awarded in 2025 (Aug. 18, Sept. 22). 

  • Ranson tallied the 10th and 11th shutouts of the season for CSF, anchoring a Titans backline that limited UCI to seven total shots with none on goal in a scoreless draw. The goalkeeper followed up with a standout performance in a 1-0 win over Long Beach State, matching a season high with seven saves as the Beach fired 16 shots. 

  • With 11 clean sheets on the year, Ranson is tied for second nationally and holds the second-best goals against average in the country at 0.42. The mark also places Ranson in a six-way tie for third all-time in Big West history for shutouts in a single season.
