	- Goalkeeper Nicky McCune helped secure two shutouts for Cal Poly to win The Big West Defensive Player of the Week award. It is McCune's sixth career weekly honor, having won it once earlier this season and four times last year.
	- The senior recorded four saves in a 1-0 road victory at UC Riverside, Wednesday.
	- On Saturday, the San Ramon, Calif. product made three stops in a 1-0 triumph over CSUN.
	- Cal Poly is 7-5-5 overall and 4-2-2 in conference action. McCune has seven solo shutouts on the season.

	- UC Santa Barbara freshman Steinar Bjornsson recorded a goal to secure The Big West Men's Soccer Freshman of the Week award. It is Bjornsson’s first career weekly honor.
	- The rookie scored the game-winner in a 2-0 home victory against Sacramento State, Wednesday.
	- On Saturday, the forward from Reykjavik, Iceland played 84 minutes and compiled nine shots, four of them on-goal, in a 0-0 draw against UC Irvine. Bjornsson's numbers in shots and shots-on-goal in the game rank in the top 10 in Division I this season.
	- UC Santa Barbara is 6-4-7 overall and 4-0-4 in league play.
