First-Time Honorees Beshear and Feliciano Joined by Jensen and King for Big West Women's Volleyball Weekly Awards

Offensive Player of the Week 
Kendall Beshear, Cal Poly | Sophomore • Outside Hitter • Palos Verdes, Calif.
  • 8038Leading the Cal Poly offensive efforts in the two-win week, sophomore Kendall Beshear has earned a first career nod as Big West Offensive Player of the Week.  

  • Beshear’s hammering shots were difficult for defenses to stop, as the outside hitter averaged 4.14 kills per set on .300 hitting.   

  • On Thursday at UC Riverside, the product of Palos Verdes, Calif., contributed 11 kills with eight digs, three blocks and an ace in the sweep of the Highlanders.  

  • Saturday, Beshear was pivotal as the Mustangs handed UC Davis their first league loss, leading all players with 18 kills with 13 digs and a trio of blocks.  

  • Beshear is currently tied for second in The Big West in aces average at .40, totaling 29 on the season.

Defensive Player of the Week 
Campbell Jensen, UC Irvine | Senior • Libero • Burbank, Calif.
  • UC Irvine senior Campbell Jensen helped the Anteaters to a pair of sweeps to claim Big West Defensive Player of the Week. This is Jensen’s second career nod, also securing honors once last season (Oct. 21, 2024). 

  • Jensen averaged 5.67 digs per set, popping up 17 digs in each match as UCI swept Hawaii at home and Cal State Fullerton on the road. The Anteater defense limited UH to -.041 hitting and the Titans to .000 in the effective week.   

  • The libero also had four set assists in UCI’s fourth-ever win over the Rainbow Wahine and a pair versus the Titans. 

  • Currently, Jensen ranks second in The Big West with a 4.42 digs per set average and stands in fourth among active NCAA Division I players in career digs with 1,741.

Setter of the Week 
Nicole Feliciano, UC Irvine | Junior • Setter • Laguna Niguel, Calif.
  • 8136UC Irvine junior Nicole Feliciano guided UCI to a pair of sweeps en route to a first-ever nod as Big West Setter of the Week.  

  • With Feliciano directing the floor, the Anteaters hit a season-high .317 (34-8-82) versus Hawai’i with just eight errors on Tuesday. Feliciano compiled 27 assists while adding a kill and seven digs in UCI’s fourth ever win over UH.  

  • On the road at Cal State Fullerton on Thursday, UCI hit .282 (44-13-110), with Feliciano notching a double-double of 39 assists nd 10 digs to go along with three blocks and an ace.  

  • For the week, Feliciano averaged 11.0 assists, 2.83 digs and 0.50 blocks per set.

Freshman of the Week 
Logan King, Long Beach State | Redshirt Freshman • Opposite Hitter • Newmarket, Ontario, Canada
  • 8042For the fifth time of the season, Long Beach State’s Logan King has been named Big West Freshman of the Week. 

  • King led the Beach offensively through two five-set matches last week, averaging 3.80 kills and 2.30 digs per set while hitting .403.  

  • The opposite hitter from Newmarket, Ontario, Canada, matched a season and career-high with 21 kills on .581 hitting while adding three blocks in the loss at CSUN on Thursday.  

  • King followed up on Saturday with 17 kills and 17 digs in a win over Cal State Bakersfield.  

  • King rates third in The Big West in kills (3.63) and points (4.23) per set.
