  • 23845UC Santa Barbara's Zachary Parker came in first at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational to claim The Big West Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week award. It is Parker's third career weekly honor, having won it twice earlier this season.
     
  • The senior finished the 8K course at Baylands Park in a personal record time of 23:43.4. The performance is sixth fastest time in UCSB program history.
     
  • As a team, the Gauchos finished second out of 18 teams.

  • UC San Diego’s Sylvana Northrop won the Highlander Invitational to earn The Big West Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week honor. It is Northrop’s third career weekly honor in cross country, having won it once earlier this year and once last season.
     
  • Northrop finished first at the Highlander Invitational out of 258 runners with a time of 20:01.4, 30 seconds clear of second place.
     
  • The Tritons won the team competition out of 24 other squads.
