• Cal State Fullerton forward Mario Carlos compiled four goals in two wins to earn The Big West Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week award. It is the first career weekly honor for Carlos.

• The senior scored a goal in the Cal State Fullerton’s 2-1 victory against UC Riverside, Wednesday.

• On Saturday, Carlos recorded a hat trick with three goals in a 5-2 win at Cal State Bakersfield.

• Cal State Fullerton is 7-4-5 overall and 4-1-1 in Big West play. Carlos leads The Big West in points (14) and goals (7).

Defensive Player of the Week Joe O'Shaughnessy, UC Irvine | Sophomore • Goalkeeper • Warrington, England

• Goalkeeper Joe O’Shaughnessy helped secure two shutouts for UC Irvine to win The Big West Defensive Player of the Week award. It is O’Shaughnessy’s second career weekly honor, having won it once earlier this season.

• The sophomore recorded one save in a 1-0 triumph over CSUN, Wednesday.

• On Saturday, the Warrington, England product made one stop in a 3-0 victory at Sacramento State.

• UC Irvine is 7-3-5 overall and 2-0-4 in conference action. O’Shaughnessy has six shutouts on the season.

• UC Davis freshman Nami Banks recorded two goals to secure The Big West Men's Soccer Freshman of the Week award. It is Banks’ first career weekly honor.

• Banks scored two goals in a 3-2 win against UC Riverside, Saturday. It was the first two goals of the rookie’s young collegiate career

• On Wednesday, the Watsonville, Calif. native played a full 90 minutes at Cal State Bakersfield.
