Levi Lentin was instrumental in UC Santa Barbara's big win over No. 6 UC San Diego on Saturday, making 10 saves and three steals to take home The Big West Men's Water Polo Player of the Week accolade for the second time of the goalkeeper's career (Nov. 1, 2023), presented by Kap7. 

Held the Tritons, who had been averaging 14.33 goals per game, to just 10, making them just the second team not named Stanford, USC, or UCLA (and just the fifth overall) to keep UCSD to that low of a total. 

Lentin's third steal helped seal the game, ending the Tritons' final full possession and allowing the Gauchos to wind the clock down.

The La Jolla, Calif. native now leads The Big West with a .429 save percentage and ranks second in the conference with an 11.00 goals-against average.
