  • Hawai'i junior Azuma Visaya had a win in singles and two wins in doubles competition to earn The Big West Men's Tennis Player of the Week. 
  • The 77th-ranked Visaya upset No. 22 Jamie Connel of 10th-ranked Florida State in straight sets 6-4, 7-6 (11-9), during the Manoa Classic, Friday. 
  • Visaya and partner Tian Hao Hou defeated the Florida State team of Joshua Dous-Karpenschif and Jan Sebasta 6-3 in the Manoa Classic, Friday. In the dual match against FSU on Sunday, Visaya and Hao Hou downed Alex Bulte and Erik Schiessl 6-4.
