Championship finals in the 200 medley relay, 800 freestyle relay and men’s 1 meter diving will take place during the evening session that starts at 6 p.m. CT/4 p.m. PT.

Swimming continues on Thursday, February 12, with prelims opening the day beginning at 10 a.m. More diving finals will take place in the afternoon with championship finals in the 200 meter individual medley and various freestyle distances (50 m, 500 m, 200 relay) capping the evening session that starts at 6 p.m. CT/4 p.m. PT.

Preliminary action on February 14, the final day of competition, starts at 10 a.m. CT/8 a.m. PT, with the women's platform diving final midday and a full slate of swimming finals in the 6 o'clock session to crown individual and team champions.

Historically, UC Santa Barbara was The Big West powerhouse team capturing 28 men's titles and 13 women's crowns from the creation of the league in 1970 through 2010. The Gaucho men claimed 23 straight from 1979-2001. UC Davis (2010 - men & women) and Hawai'i (1987 - women) are also previous Big West title holders back competing in the league.

Hawai’i swept the men’s and women’s swimming and diving championships with UC Santa Barbara as runners-up a year ago in competition in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF), where all six Big West member-institutions previously competed. Big West student-athletes and coaches claimed nine of the 10 MPSF individual awards in 2024.
