  • UC Davis senior TY Johnson averaged 28.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2.0 steals in two road wins to claim The Big West Men's Basketball Player of the Week award. It is Johnson’s third career weekly honor, having won it once earlier this season and one other time in 2023-24.
  • The Aggie guard shot 5-for-12 from long distance and a perfect 13-for-13 from the charity stripe in the two victories.
  • Johnson posted a game-high 21 points, five rebounds and two steals in a 65-54 triumph at Cal Poly, Thursday night.
  • On Saturday at UC Santa Barbara, the Chicago native went for a game-high 35 points, shooting 12-of-23 from the floor and 9-for-9 from the free throw line, with two assists and two steals in a 64-60 win. Johnson's 35 points tied a career-high and marked the fourth 30+ point performance this season. 
  • The Aggies are currently 11-8 overall record with a 5-3 conference mark. Johnson is averaging a league-best 21.2 points to go along with 4.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 2.7 steals per game this season.
