Cal Poly senior catcher Kai Barrett hit safely during the Mustangs sweep over Cal State Bakersfield to score The Big West Field Player of the Week accolade. This is the second weekly distinction of Barrett's collegiate career (May 10, 2021).

During the doubleheader against the Roadrunners, Barrett recorded 12 putouts in the Mustangs two wins 10-1 (5 inn.), 2-1. Overall, Barrett places 14th in The Big West with 115 total putouts. The Waipahu product also produced a hit in both contests offensively.
- In the series finale, Barret recorded a hit in all four at-bats during the Mustangs 6-2 (8 inn.) thriller. The four hits set a new career high for Barret. Currently, Cal Poly is 11-3 in conference alongside a 21-12 overall record.

UC Davis pitcher Kenedi Brown made two saves in the Aggie's sweep over CSUN to claim The Big West Pitcher of the Week award. This is the tenth weekly distinction of Brown's collegiate career (2021: Mar. 8, Apr. 12, 26 | 2022: Feb. 14, 21, Mar. 21 | 2023: Mar. 6, Apr. 3 | Feb. 26, 2024).

In Brown's 10 innings of work, the right-hander struck out ten total batters over three games. Brown's magic number was three as the Elk Grove native walked just three batters and only allowed three hits during the series.

Brown leads The Big West in saves with four and ranks fourth place in the league with 94 total strikeouts. Currently, UC Davis is riding a three-game winning streak and is 6-9 in Big West action.

Freshman pitcher Ashley Sawai started all three contests during the Aggies sweep over CSUN to collect The Big West Freshman of the Week award. This is the first weekly distinction of Sawai's collegiate career.

Sawai surrendered just two earned runs and a lone walk during the freshman's performance. The Torrance, Calif. native also contributed three punch-outs on the weekend. Overall, Sawai ranks fifth in The Big West with a total 2.55 ERA.
