Cal Poly duo Piper Naess and Logan Walter went a perfect 4-0 over the weekend at the Center of Effort Challenge to claim Big West Pairs Team of the Week, a first career award for both student-athletes.

Naess and Walter were victorious against four pairs from top 10 teams, defeating tandems from from No. 1 UCLA, No. 4 Florida State, No. 5 TCU, and No. 10 LMU.

Competing in the No. 5 slot against the Seminoles and in Flight 4 in the remaining three duals, the Cal Poly couplet helped the team to a third-place finish in the Challenge as the team earned 4-1 wins over the Lions and Horned Frogs.

Naess and Walter are now 17-3 together on the sand this season and are riding a 14-match win streak.
