UC Davis tandem Kylie Miller and Colleen McGuire had an exceptional weekend going 4-0 at the No. 1 position during the Boise State Beach Classic to earn Big West Pairs Team of the Week. This is a first career weekly award for Miller, and a second for McGuire who won back on April 12, 2021, with partner Paloma Bowman. 

The duo were able to win the Aggies’ lone point of each match against the host Broncos. Both matches against the Boise State tandem against Marlayna Bullington and Sierra Land went three sets with the UC Davis tandem dropping the first set before rallying for the point on Friday and Saturday. The third set went extra points in both duals with Miller and McGuire winning the third set 18-16 on Friday and 16-14 on Saturday.  

The pair had great games against Oregon winning in straight sets in both matches and helping lead their team to two victories over the Ducks. Saturday's matches put Kylie Miller at 50 career wins, and Colleen McGuire is just shy of 75. 

This marks the first UC Davis pair to take home a weekly honor since McGuire and Bowman received acclaim in 2021. Miller and McGuire are just the third honorees for the Aggies in program history.
