Cal State Fullerton senior DJ Brewton averaged 28.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game in two wins to earn The Big West Player of the Week award, presented by Hercules Tires. It is Brewton's first career weekly honor.

The Cincinatti, Ohio product shot 50 percent (21-for-42) from the field and 50 percent (5-for-10) from 3-point range in the two victories.

Brewton has scored 20 points or more in six straight contests and has averaged 16.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.5 steals per game on the season.
