• UC Irvine’s Noah Zamora went a perfect 2-0 to extend the junior’s winning streak to four matches this week to secure The Big West Men’s Tennis Player of the Week award. This is the second weekly distinction of Zamora’s collegiate career (April 20, 2022).
• To start the week off versus Villanova, the ‘Eater duo of Zamora and Rahul Dhokia dominated Josh Robinson/Thomas Wakefield, 6-2. The following match versus UCLA, Zamora took down No. 31 nationally ranked Spencer Johnson of UCLA in No. 3 singles 6-4, 6-2, to clinch the lone point for the Anteaters of the afternoon, 4-1.
• From there, Zamora downed Elyes Marouani of Weber State, 6-2 6-1 during the San Diego, Calif. Natives debut at No. 2 singles.
